Targeting specific groups within a certain radius of the casinos, CCL solicited, booked and coordinated group trips on a regular basis. The simple proposal to the casinos was, waive the boarding fee and feed guests in exchange for having busloads of gamers delivered right to their front door. Casino Cruiselines (CCL) started in 1993 with the idea of busing people to the new riverboat casinos in the Chicago Suburbs of Aurora and Joliet, Illinois.
